What do we wear?

Newborns look best not wearing anything, or just a plain cloth diaper. We can also supply a number of props, beanies and hats for the shoot. Family or kids photos look best if everyone is wearing complimentary colours (not necessarily everyone wearing the same colours). This can be anything from earthy tones, white shirts, jeans, sundresses or checkered shirts, they all work really well! Bringing several changes of clothes is also recommended as this will add some variety to the end product. I recommend staying away from branded clothing or big images on clothing as its distracting to the final outcome.

What if my newborn shoot goes over time?

Please allow plenty of spare hours up your sleeve for your newborn shoot. I won't charge you any extra for staying longer because my goal is to capture the best moments of the day, if this means staying a little longer because bubs has been upset for most of the shoot then it's ok!

Can I pay my session fee on the day?

Session fees have to be paid at the time of booking to secure your time slot.

What if it rains?

I will only ever re-schedule a photoshoot if there is severe weather warnings with crazy wind and lightning. Photos in the rain can be some of the most memorable! It is a lot of fun and provides some cool cloudy backdrops. I encourage you to come along if it's raining and will provide you with some umbrellas.

How soon can I see my pictures?

Post-processing can take up to two weeks after your photoshoot depending on my schedule. I will provide you with a private online gallery as soon as I have finished and will send off a disc with images as soon as you let me know your selection.

Can I bring toys?

Absolutley! I encourage everyone to bring their child's favourite toy if they have one, or something that will enhance the experience for the child. I have some I can bring along but if you can bring your own, it always helps makes the end product more personal and unique.

Do you do weddings or event photography?

What if I can't make my session?

As long as 24hrs notice is given you can re-schedule your photoshoot. If 24hrs notice is not given then you will lose your session fee paid at the time of booking.
